Information on the accessibility of these websites in accordance with Section 12 of the German Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz, BGG) as well as related contact possibilities.
This accessibility statement applies to the website of the Federal Government/Länder ISF project “Warning of the Population” at the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance published at www.warnung-der-bevoelkerung.de.
As a public authority within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we are striving to make our website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the German Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities and the Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (Barrierefreie Informationstechnik-Verordnung, BITV 2.0) in order to implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
Compliance Status
The website adheres to BITV 2.0 requirements (Sections 3.1-4 and Section 4), which are based on Section 12d of the BGG.
Accessibility tests were conducted on August 1-31, 2023 and on February 1-14, 2024. In July 2024 the accessibility to the website was also tested by Überwachungsstelle des Bundes für Barrierefreiheit von Informationstechnik.
Due to the reviews, the website is not fully compatible with the above mentioned requirements, specifically in the search function, cookie banner, header skip link, and footer.
We are committed to addressing these accessibility issues by February 2025.
