Information on the accessibility of these websites in accordance with Section 12 of the German Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz, BGG) as well as related contact possibilities.

This accessibility statement applies to the website of the Federal Government/Länder ISF project “Warning of the Population” at the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance published at www.warnung-der-bevoelkerung.de.

As a public authority within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we are striving to make our website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the German Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities and the Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (Barrierefreie Informationstechnik-Verordnung, BITV 2.0) in order to implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Status of compliance with requirements

The accessibility requirements arise from Section 3(1) to (4) and Section 4 of the BITV 2.0, which are based on Section 12d of the BGG.

The tests we conducted revealed that this website does not yet guarantee complete accessibility. We are working hard to remove the barriers listed below by the end of 2023.

Due to our review, the website is compatible with the above mentioned requirements except for the following aspects.

The aspects listed below are not fully accessible:

  • Some explanations in German sign language and plain language in accordance with Section 4 of the BITV 2.0 are still missing.
