A disseminator is a person or institution that passes on information and thus contributes to its dissemination.
Warning disseminators pass on warning messages.
Warning disseminators are
- authorities, organisations and enterprises (such as Deutsche Bahn),
- all public broadcasting corporations and most of the private media companies,
- internet and paging services as well as
- app operators (e.g. of the warning apps NINA, KATWARN, BIWAPP),
that forward the warning messages to the population.
